Troubleshooting

Missing Data

If sessions or laps are missing from your dashboard, here are the most common causes and fixes.

Sessions Not Appearing

Wait a moment — there can be a short delay between completing a lap and seeing it on the dashboard. Refresh the page after 10-15 seconds.

Check client connection — look at the p0 system tray icon. If it shows disconnected, the data may be queued locally and will sync when the connection is restored.

Check the right account — make sure you're signed into the same account on the web and in the p0 client.

Incomplete Laps

Some laps may not be recorded if:

  • You returned to the pits mid-lap — only completed laps (crossing the start/finish line) are recorded
  • The game session ended mid-lap — the in-progress lap is discarded
  • You were spectating — p0 only records data for the player's car, not spectated cars

Missing Telemetry

If a lap appears but telemetry data is unavailable:

  • Low send rate — if the game's telemetry output rate was set too low, some data channels may be sparse or missing
  • Short lap — very short laps (like pit laps) may not have enough data points for meaningful telemetry display
  • Encoding error — rarely, a telemetry packet may be corrupted in transit. The lap time and sector data will still be available even if the full trace is missing.

Gaps in Telemetry Traces

If telemetry charts show gaps or discontinuities:

  • This usually means the game temporarily stopped sending data (e.g., during a loading screen or pause)
  • Gaps at the start or end of a lap are normal — data collection starts/stops at the start/finish line
  • If gaps appear mid-corner, check your game's telemetry send rate setting and increase it

Session Shows Wrong Track or Car

The track and car are detected from the game's telemetry data. If they appear incorrect:

  • The game may have sent stale metadata from a previous session
  • This is rare and typically resolves itself on the next session
